Day 1:

FRANCE – MOSCOW

Flight to Moscow. Reception at the airport and transfer. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2:

MOSCOW (overnight on board the Trans-Siberian)

Panoramic tour in the historic district of the Russian capital, the famous Red Square, the Cathedral of Basil the Blessed, the Bolshoi (exterior views). This day will also be an opportunity to see the brilliant Moscow metro with its beautiful stations. Lunch during visits. Afternoon, transfer to the station. Overnight on board the train.

Day 3:

MOSCOW – EKATERINBURG

Departure to Yekaterinburg and your trans-Siberian journey begins.

Day aboard the train to Ekaterinburg.

Transfer to your hotel in town and free evening.

Day 4:

EKATERINBOURG (overnight on board the Trans-Siberian)

After breakfast, departure to visit the capital of the Urals.

Visit of the Monastery-tomb of the Romanovs which will immerse you in the famous history of the last Russian Tsar Nicolas II and his family. The murder of the Romanovs is an important part of Russian history and cannot be ignored by people who love the history of the Russian Federation and Yekaterinburg. Then excursion to the monument marking the border between Europe and Asia.

Lunch during visits.

Departure at the end of the day for the station. Overnight on board the train.

Days 5 and 6:

EKATERINBOURG – IRKOUTSK (overnight on board the Trans-Siberian)

Many stops during this journey where you will find street vendors on the quays and you will make unusual encounters with the local population

Nights aboard the train.

Day 7:

IRKUTSK – LAKE BAIKAL – LISTVIANKA – IRKUTSK

Arrival in Irkutsk in the morning and departure to visit Listvyanka village, located on the shore of Lake Baikal. Walk in the village with its typical wooden houses and its Saint-Nikolas church, protector of fishermen.

Boat trip on the lake (depending on weather conditions), then walk to the port and the fish market. Return to Irkutsk. En route, stop to visit the Talsty Open-Air Museum of Wooden Architecture. Lunch during visits. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8:

IRKUTSK

Discovery of Irkutsk, the capital of Eastern Siberia. Walk in the old town classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its famous houses with wooden architecture, the quay of the Angara river with the monument to Tsar Alexander III, the initiator of the construction of the Trans-Siberian railway, the church Saint-Sauveur, the central market. Visit of the Volkonsky House, a pretty mansion transformed into a museum. Lunch during visits. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9:

IRKOUTSK – FRANCE

Transfer to the airport for the flight back to France via Moscow.
